And sometimes, one of those animals becomes the inspiration for an original piece of art.
If you've been dreaming of an original that captures the soul of the animal you love, I would be honoured to draw it for you.
A Beautiful Collaboration
You bring me the photograph. I take it from there.
Your photograph becomes the inspiration for an original 8 × 10" pastel artwork, created entirely through my artistic interpretation. The one you fell in love with and brought you here today.
Resulting in a hand-drawn Crystal Clarke original - full of love, soul, and connection.
Originals begin at $1,500 CAD.

Submit your animal
When entries reopen, an exclusive link is emailed where you can submit the photograph you'd love to see interpreted as art, along with a little bit about them.
You must own the copyright to the photograph you submit.
I Select the Inspiration
I review the submissions and select the animal that calls to my heart and inspires me to create.
I'm looking for the photograph that makes me want to pick up my pastels and see where it takes me.
Magic Happens
This is where you let me do what I do.
I'll take your reference and turn it into a piece of artwork through the artistic eye you fell in love with in the first place.
You bring the animal.
I bring the vision.
Own your Original
If your animal is selected, you'll have the first opportunity to collect the original artwork.
A $500 non-refundable deposit secures the original for you and is applied toward the $1,500 purchase price. The remaining balance is due when your artwork is complete.
Along the way, you will receive step-by-step process photos, watching your piece come to life.
Final Details

If your animal is selected, the finished piece becomes part of my body of work. It may be reproduced as prints, greeting cards, or other artwork and products, and shared throughout my studio, website and marketing.
The selected participant is given the first opportunity to collect the original. A $500 CAD non-refundable deposit is required to secure the artwork and is applied toward the $1,500 CAD purchase price. If the selected participant chooses not to proceed with the purchase, the original remains the property of Crystal Clarke Animal Art and may be offered for sale in a future collection.
By submitting a photograph, you acknowledge that you own the copyright to the photograph and give Crystal Clarke Animal Art permission to use it as reference for the creation, reproduction and promotion of the resulting artwork.
