I Quit

Handing over the written notice to my beloved boss did two things immediately.

  1.  Instant fear - what was I thinking? The economy is hard. Gas and food prices keep increasing. How many people will be able to afford beautiful excess, such as artwork? Can I reach my monthly income requirements?

  2.  Absolute certainty that this decision was meant to happen, and the timing is right.

Come September 2024, as my baby girl takes those two-giant steps onto the bus to head toward school. I will take several freeing, dancing, and electrified steps toward my art studio as a full-time artist.

  • This is why I can create more beautiful pieces

  • This is why your support in sharing my artwork on social media, your 5-star reviews, and your words of encouragement mean EVERYTHING.

  • This is why, at 40 years of age, I am following my dreams with uncertainty, fear, and a crap load of determination and excitement.

I quit, and I cannot wait to work for you.
