A Beautiful Collaboration
You bring the photograph. I'll bring the magic.
Your photograph becomes the inspiration for an original 8 × 10" pastel artwork, created entirely through my artistic style.
The crop, colour, softness, and soul-filled way that brought you here and makes a piece a Crystal Clarke original.
The result is a one-of-a-kind artwork, created entirely by hand in my studio.
Originals begin at $1,500 CAD.
How it works
1. Submit your animal
Submit the photograph you'd love to see interpreted as art, along with a little bit about them.
You must own the copyright to the photograph you submit.
2. I choose the inspiration
I review the submissions and select the animal that calls to my heart and inspires me to create.
The more detailed the photograph, the better! Detail makes my photorealism heart jump for joy. Super pixelated and blurry photos are not the way to go
3. I work my magic
This is where you let my hand and heart lead the way.
I’ll take your reference and turn it into a piece of artwork through my own artistic eye. The one that you fell in love with and brought you here today.
4. Own the Original
If your animal is selected, you'll have the first opportunity to collect the original artwork.
A $500 non-refundable deposit secures the original for you and is applied toward the $1,500 purchase price. The remaining balance is due when your artwork is complete.

If your animal is selected, the finished piece becomes part of my body of work.
That means your animal may eventually find its way onto fine art prints, greeting cards, other artwork or products, exhibitions, my website, social media and other studio marketing.
I love the idea that the your animal can become the next ambassador of the breed.
And you'll forever have the story of where it started.
Final Details
If your animal is selected, you will be contacted and given the first opportunity to collect the original artwork.
A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to secure the original and is applied toward the $1,500 purchase price.
If you choose not to proceed with the purchase, the deposit is non-refundable and the original remains the property of Crystal Clarke Animal Art. The artwork may then be offered for sale in a future collection.
By submitting a photograph, you confirm that you own the copyright to the image and give Crystal Clarke Animal Art permission to use the photograph as reference for the creation, reproduction and promotion of the resulting artwork.
By submitting, you also acknowledge that the finished artwork remains the intellectual property of Crystal Clarke Animal Art and may be reproduced, exhibited, published and sold in connection with prints, greeting cards, products, collections, exhibitions, marketing and other commercial uses.
The original artwork remains available to the selected participant first before being offered publicly.
